About Me
Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember. Before launching Barks & Rec Atx, I spent years working in professional dog care. That experience taught me everything from complex social cues to individual behavioral nuances. But it also showed me that many pets thrive best in their own homes.
As a pet sitter in North Austin, I transitioned into private care to provide a more personalized, stress-free alternative to traditional boarding. I’m here to make sure your pets get the specialized attention they deserve without ever having to leave their comfort zone.

My mission is to ensure every client feels safe, respected, and valued—both at home and in our community.

I believe that every pet visit is an opportunity to build trust. My approach is rooted in Positive Reinforcement—meaning no fear, no force, and no "corrections." Whether I’m working with a high-energy puppy or a senior cat, I use science-based methods to ensure a happy, safe experience.
